You know what's better than getting free tickets to a Pirates game? Having that Pirate game turn into a free doubleheader, and then having the Pirates sweep it. Even better, I got to see the Pirates beat up on Kris Benson and see Jason Bay break the team's rookie home run record.

Sorry for the delay getting these two strips up. Won't happen again - mostly because the "skip week" coming after this Friday is mostly to help me build up a buffer of new strips. Anyway, more info about the Graphic Smash switchover in the coming days.

Well, and that's it for Graphic Smash. Thanks to T. Campbell, who's been a great editor, and to Joey Manley for making it all possible. I've had a good time at GS, but honestly, I'm just not a group-joining type of guy, and it feels kind of liberating to be back on my own again.
And now I'm taking a week off to recharge my batteries. Join us on October 1st when the Japanese Beetle meets... the Vigilants! In color!
